Community Art

Working with communities to help them express themselves, create beauty in their environment, and learn, is a privilege and a joy to me. It helps create a balance in my artistic life. Working in the studio is often a solitary experience. Working in schools, senior centers, and community centers has given me a way to engage the artist that I believe dwells in all people. Since 1997 I have had the opportunity to work on a wide range of community arts projects. Together we have made drawings, murals, quilts, mosaics and more!
